Terms & Conditions
1 The Wotton Car Boot Sale can not guarantee that there will be a minimum number of buyers and sellers at any event; turnout is very much dependant on the climatic conditions prevailing at the time of the boot sale.
2 We are a reasonable sized car boot sale and we have no aspirations to be as large as some of the big city sales. The typical turnout of sellers is in the region of 55-60. However, our ratio of buyers to sellers is the same as any other boot sale – roughly 10:1.
3 If you like to attend an ultra-large boot sale with all the pushing and shoving and hassle that goes with it then we are not the sale for you.
4 But if you like a boot sale in beautiful countryside with friendly buyers and sellers in a safe environment you will love us.
5 We want you to enjoy yourself and we do not want you to go away feeling displeased with your experience. Therefore, if you genuinely feel that you have been misled, we would be happy to give you your money back. Buyers are welcome to a cash refund and sellers will be given a voucher to attend a future sale at no cost.
1 All visitors enter this site at their own risk. We will not be held responsible for any accident, however caused, at the car boot sale.
2 These terms and conditions apply to buyers and sellers. We hereby exclude all liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, theft and damage of goods including vehicles due to the negligence of others.
3 We will not be responsible for personal injury due to negligence of others whilst attending the car boot sale.
4 We reserve the right to refuse admission and offers can be withdrawn at any time.
5 Nothing in this Agreement shall limit or exclude our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, or personal injury resulting from our negligence or the negligence of our employees or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
6 We do not allow the sale of illegal goods, weapons, alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, live animals, fish and food past its ‘sell-by’ date.
7 All visitors entering the car boot sale are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions, which are clearly displayed on entry.
